Our History

Praise began in 1986 when a small group began to meet for Bible study and prayer. The group began holding worship services in West Hartland later that same year.  In 1995, Praise purchased 19 acres on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley and completed construction of our current and first building in 1999.  Rev. Warren Geraghty served as Senior Pastor from 1988-2007, then as Outreach Pastor from 2007 to 2009.  Rev. Ryan Nilsen was called to Praise in 2007 and currently serves as our Lead Pastor.  Praise has become known as a welcoming, family-friendly church where we seek to help each other grow spiritually.
